Rachel has been an integral part of the New Jersey music scene for more than a decade, performing primarily originals and lending her own interpretation to the best of songs by both well-known and independent artists.  1998’s mini-disc, Feed On Me, yielded the hit title track and also the crowd favorite, “Kiss My Ass.” Consistently nominated for Top Female Vocalist at the Asbury Music Awards, she earned the honor in 1998.   In the spring of 2003 Rachel released “Two Sides.”  This first full-length disc continued the poignant, emotionally driven and insightful songwriting established on her previous efforts. The disk gained rave reviews in the Aquarian and AsburyMusic.com, where Gary Wien named it one of the Top Ten releases of 2003 and Not Smoking Crack as one of the Top Ten songs. Rachel is currently working on the follow up to Two Sides.  The first single, “Marry My Girlfriend” was released in December of 2008.  The CD is slated for an early 2009 debut. When not writing, recording or performing Rachel works as a wardrobe/production assistant for Weird Al Yankovic.  Among her influences, Rachel cites Ani DiFranco, The Indigo Girls, Lucinda Williams and classic acts such as Tom Petty, Neil Young and Led Zeppelin.
